In development, launching soon on the Chrome Web Store

Check you're paying the lowest UK price before you buy

Battleship Price Finder is a browser extension for UK shoppers. Click it while you're looking at a product and it shows you the cheapest UK price we can find for that exact product, with delivery included.

  • Same product, not a near miss. It matches on barcode and model number, and it folds away lookalikes, other colours and older models under "Similar, not identical".
  • Delivery counted in. Offers are sorted by price plus delivery. If a shop doesn't tell us its delivery cost, we say so and never treat it as free.
  • Doubtful "was" prices flagged. If a "was" price is far above what the item is selling for elsewhere, it warns you instead of showing it as a saving.

Price comparison only. It never changes the page you're on, never adds coupons and never opens tabs on its own.

The extension's pop-up window listing five offers for a pair of headphones, sorted by total price, with one doubtful was price flagged.
Preview of the pop-up with sample data. The product and shop names are made up, and the prices aren't real offers.

How it works

  1. Open a product page

Browse any UK shop as you normally would and open the item you're thinking of buying.

  2. Click the icon

The extension reads the product details already on that page, such as the name, brand, barcode and price.

  3. Compare and decide

You see the same item at other UK shops, cheapest first with delivery included. You click through only if you want to.

Prices come only from official retailer and affiliate network data feeds that allow price comparison. We don't scrape shop websites.

Privacy

To look up prices, the product details from that page are sent to our server. The full detail is in the extension privacy policy.

We may earn a commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.

The free version is paid for this way. Commission never changes the order of results: offers are always sorted by total price.
